Day 10: Your dream first date.

My dream first date?

Hurmmm…

A simple one.

Scenario: Boy picks me up. We go for a simple dinner at a fast food restaurant or a cozy cafe (he pays, of course! Haha). We go for a theatre (something I enjoy!) and he sends me back.

It’s not what we have planned out that matter. It’s about what happens in between. What do we say to each other, the level of comfort, how nervous you are at the beginning…only to realize you’re shaking in the end. Do you hold hands? Or kiss? Or do you look away at every turn?

The best first date I’ve ever been on, he told me he liked me. He showered me with words that were so sweet, I wanted to cry. He mended my broken heart.

I hid my face away under my hair, laughing nervously at every compliment, every word he said made my heart beat faster -I blushed. 

“I am doing something that I like…which is hanging out with you.”

Day 9: A letter to the person you hope will be your last love.

To my dearest darling,

I don’t mean to scare you. I don’t mean to be too forward. But, yes, I hope that you’re the one.

You might think me crazy, or nuts even, for having that kind of notion in mind. But that’s the kind of notion that I have in mind.

I’m not asking for perfection. I’m not asking for everything. But I ask you to please make me your everything, as you my everything.

I have not the slightest clue on how we go from here. But I hadn’t a slightest clue even on how we got this far.

I’m not asking for much.

Just your heart in exchange for my heart.

And the rest? I can wait. I can wait patiently, in anticipation of what God has written for us.

I hope that you and I, will last for forever, however long forever is. You complete me…even with all your imperfections.
